This blog started off as my travel diary, covering my overseas adventures in 2012/2013, through South East Asia, Africa, Barcelona, England, San Diego, Texas, the East Coast and then my return back to beautiful NZ.

Since then, it has become my outlet for reflecting on my running journey and running adventures.  Training for my first marathon – the Jacksonville Marathon in 2013.  Training for Sydney 2014.  And then the 62.7km Tarawera Ultra Marathon in 2016.  I hope to continue to blog even when I don’t have a big event ahead, and to also talk about nutrition, running and gyming on a vegetarian (and mostly vegan) diet. My struggles with achieving my goal figure, and my struggles physically and mentally in maintaining it and being happy with myself, inside and out.  Finding that inner peace that I am 100% happy with me.  Just me.  Because that is the only person’s opinion that matters at the end of the day.  My motto that embodies my life, and how I want to live my life, is “Live. Love. Run.” Simple.

I hope you will join me on my journey, and look at previous posts to see what steps I have already taken in that journey.  Below are my posts relating to running so far.
